My Story
Teaching is my passion. I believe that every child can learn when given the right tools and the opportunity to do so. In our classroom, we do mistakes and failure. The only way to stretch your mind is to learn from your mistakes. We will take on a growth mindset where we our minds and bodies are constantly growing and we realize the power of yet!
I grew up right here in East Peoria! I graduated from Eureka College in 2013 where I majored in Elementary Education and Special Education. I taught fifth grade at Lincoln Elementary for the past six years and this is my first year at Bolin. It is my mission to instill the same love of learning I got from my teachers, in my students. I aim to teach my students so they develop a desire to become life long learners.

I am married to my wonderful and supportive husband, Ross. We have one dog named Archer and when he is not keeping me busy, I love to bake, be outside, and relax with our family and friends.
